AYA Monthly Journaling Workshop

Understanding Sarcoma
Join us on July 27 for a special talk to better understand Sarcoma. Dr. Mark Agulnik is a board-certified medical oncologist specializing in sarcomas, including bone and soft tissue cancers and gastrointestinal stromal tumors (GIST). He is nationally recognized for his work in immunotherapy, targeted therapies, and precision medicine, and has authored more than 100 scientific publications.

El Dorado Nature Center Walk and Picnic
El Dorado Nature Center in Long Beach is an oasis of natural habitat with two lakes - an escape from the hustle and bustle of the urban environment. Join us on June 27 for a relaxing day of a nature walk and a picnic. There are multiple trails available, ranging from 1/4 to two miles. Lunch will be served with opportunities to play fun board games and hang out with your fellow AYAs and families. FREE for young adults with cancer and family members. Bring your picnic goods (blankets, chairs, etc).
