Upcoming events.
This support group occurs on the 1st Thursday of each month. Open to young adult cancer patients and survivors between the ages of 18-39 treated at USC and/or residing in CA.
Writing can be therapeutic and healing for cancer patients, cancer caregivers, andsurvivors. In this workshop open to all affected by cancer in any way, participantsbring life to the character of their “pain.” Utilizing prompts, they explore what this“pain” looks and sounds like, what it has to say to them, and what they’d like to say toit. A monthly theme will be used as a starting point to then allow whatever healingand creativity is waiting to flow out!

Thanks to the generous support of the Audrey Irmas Foundation for Social Justice, we will be hosting our 7th Annual AYA@USC Young Adult Getaway Retreat at Camp Ronald McDonald to bring together young adult cancer patients and survivors to create a supportive community, learn new talent and skills, enjoy performances, or hang out in a relaxing, healing, and beautiful setting. This weekend will leave you inspired, relaxed, and with some new friendships. We look forward to a getaway weekend of sharing, laughing, and celebrating together!
