Holly is a breast cancer survivor, writer, performer, and advocate. Her award-winning one person show, Deconstructing Holly, explores how her journey with breast cancer and the BRCA1 gene helped her deconstruct what it truly means to be, and become, a woman.
In this workshop, participants bring life to the character of their “pain.” Utilizing prompts, they explore what this “pain” looks and sounds like, what it has to say to them, and what they’d like to say to it. We use this as a starting point to then allow whatever healing and creativity is waiting to flow out!
