TURNING PAIN INTO ART WITH HOLLY SIDELL AND PATSY NOAH

Writing can be therapeutic and healing for cancer patients, cancer caregivers, andsurvivors. In this workshop open to all affected by cancer in any way, participantsbring life to the character of their “pain.” Utilizing prompts, they explore what this“pain” looks and sounds like, what it has to say to them, and what they’d like to say toit. A monthly theme will be used as a starting point to then allow whatever healingand creativity is waiting to flow out!

Holly Sidell is the writer and performer of DeconstructingHolly, an award-winning solo show about how her journeythrough breast cancer and the BRCA1 gene helped her finallyfind self-love.
