Conquer Fatigue After Cancer Treatment

As a childhood survivor of Hodgkin’s lymphoma and breast cancer, Dr. Perdomo developed many common long-term adverse effects associated with extensive radiation therapy, aggressive chemotherapy, and multiple surgical interventions. Dr. Perdomo was an Assistant Professor in Clinical Physical Therapy at the University of Southern California for 20 years. She has over 40 years of clinical practice focusing on oncology rehabilitation. She developed both the USC curricular content and outpatient clinical services regarding the comprehensive management of oncological-related impairments and lymphedema. Her cancer experiences and knowledge as a physical therapist provided her with unique insights regarding healing, rehabilitation, and reclaiming quality of life after treatment.
